Biographical work forms an essential basis of my therapeutic work.
Biographical work means looking at one's own life in context. Experiences, crises and turning points take on meaning and can be placed in a larger developmental perspective. The human biography proceeds in rhythms and developmental phases. In certain stages of life, questions, conflicts or changes become particularly apparent. Biographical work helps to understand these processes and shape them consciously. The work is based on a structured biographical history. I also work with family and life geography as well as reflective questions that reveal important life contexts. The aim of biographical work is to understand one's own life more consciously, to take responsibility for one's own development and to recognise new possibilities for action.
